The Denver Element hosts weekly social and discussion groups for folks living with HIV. Our positive programming exists to provide a space that is non-judgemental to discuss relevant topics and socialize. Denver Element is a Ryan White provider meaning that all programming is free to attend. Below are some of the groups we offer.
Positive Impact is a weekly social group that takes place every Tuesday- on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesdays of the month at 4242 Delaware and The Center (1301 Colfax) on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month. Each week there is an activity like game nights and movie nights. Attendees are encouraged to bring topics of discussion or interesting information for the group. Food and snacks are always provided.
A weekly discussion group every Thursday from 3-4:30 at 4242 Delaware. There will be a specific topic each week with food and, of course, tea.
Part - Coming soon!
Part is one of our newest weekly programs focusing on crafting and art for folks living with HIV. Each week there will be a project that the facilitator will guide the group through. Materials will be provided for themed projects at no cost to attendees.
Healthy Relationships is a casual group involving discussion about disclosure and personal experience. The Healthy Relationships program empowers participants to embrace and value themselves by taking control of their own decision-making and personal lives in a supportive environment.
