Working at The Denver ELEMENT since 2009, Brent holds a masters degree in clinical counseling. He enjoys creating electronic music, producing unconventional local fundraising events and writing his relationship column for Out Front Colorado. He is excited to support gay men in their journey to find life fulfillment, happiness and great relationships.

A Colorado mountain native, Zane wears shorts and Chacos even in midst of the winter. He enjoys skiing powder, “wander” hiking, “creative” camping and is always up for an adventure. With a masters in counseling from Naropa University, Zane has a passion for LGBTQ communities and sexual health, and believes that ELEMENT is a perfect avenue to help create change in the world.

A Colorado native, Grant attended University of Colorado Boulder where he was engaged in the GSA and lead LGBT support groups. When not at work, he is working on a creative project, whether being part of a video production team or making clothes. Grant joined The Denver ELEMENT team because of his passion for LGBTQ health and community building.

A recent New York transplant, Mike loves Denver. He has a bachelor of music from Baldwin-Wallace University and includes music in his everyday life. When not working, Mike enjoys family, friends, video games, animals and food. Mike has a deep passion for the LGBTQ community and joined The Denver ELEMENT to help provide a support system and community for HIV+ gay and bisexual men in Denver.

Spencer is a native Texan and has been in Colorado since December 2015. Before becoming a coordinator at Element, he was very involved in the Denver Pique program and was a part of a similar program in Texas. Spencer enjoys thai food, literature and binge-watching Steven Universe. He is passionate about creating a more cohesive community which is what brought him to Element in the first place.

Adam grew up in Austin, Texas, but he’s lived in Denver for over a decade and loves the Rocky Mountains. He spent most of that time working in human services and earning his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. He joined the Element team to focus on helping others in his own community and writing short internet bios.

A Colorado native attending Metropolitan State University, Christopher is earning his bachelor degree in human services. When not at our office or studying you might find him in a salon cutting hair—he’s been a cosmetologist for 13 years. Christopher always has a smile on his face! He joined the Denver ELEMENT team as a recovery coach who specializes in recovery among the LGBTQ community.

A well-traveled Denver native and 30 year HIV long-term survivor, Robert has more than 20 years of HIV/AIDS experience in non-profit organizations, government programs, clinical trials and as a volunteer. Away from work, Robert enjoys photography and painting. He joined The Denver Element team to provide his life experience and Ryan White system of care knowledge and expertise.
